Ron Bronson has spent the past five years talking with his hands successfully as a web strategist, steering meetings and demystifying the web to audiences of ones and 1,000s as a staff member in diverse roles at colleges and universities throughout the country.

Ron has managed content projects, led award-winning redesign projects and served as a critical pulse for helping institutions and constituents develop and communicate their unique message. He has also taught classes and worked closely with students seeking to re-position themselves in a shifting global marketplace. 

Since 2008, he’s also been the founding editor of edustir, a .edu web strategy blog. His work outside higher ed includes domestic marketing at lifestyle startup Omnivore and launching a Chicago-based web strategy boutique, Synonym

Ron is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force who was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for his service in support of Operation Southern Watch in the Persian Gulf in 2000. A tennis player since age nine, he has also coached tennis at the collegiate and scholastic levels.

Ron maintains the Omnivore College Football ranking, one of 120 or so computer ranking systems measuring major college football teams in the U.S.
