    Interesting points Ron – with which I agree. Saying less also means making sure that what do you eventually say is worth other people’s time to listen to. Blog posts, status updates and tweets are so easy to produce that they are broadcast without much thought to their value or relevance. They seem increasingly to be “all about me” without regard to the audience or its needs/interests.

    I was looking at my twitter volume stats the other day and it was interesting to me how I went from tweeting all of the time (mostly replying, but still) to really barely saying much at all. But I like it more now, because I feel like when I do say something, I’m trying to consider the value. It might be something inane to others and I still might post it, but…it’s a consideration that wasn’t always there before.
